Session Six: The Return of the Old Ones...?
[2024/06/18 16:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: soooooooo... did you all like the audio cues in the game last night...?
[2024/06/18 16:05] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Was pretty neat
[2024/06/18 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me cracks knuckles, pulls out NCs and stuffs
[2024/06/18 16:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: Last I recall, you had run across a bunch of wolves and one wounded tiger. The wolves are gone and the tiger is following, not sure the horse is going to be too happy about that.
[2024/06/18 16:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: still, that's not even the craziest situation, even this week.
[2024/06/18 16:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben is not currently expecting to sleep well
[2024/06/18 16:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Also, it's just as well Debben is not an ecologist to inquire what sort of climate has wolves and tigers in it at the same time.
[2024/06/18 16:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: and with that said... GGGGGggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeetings Adventurers, other players get kittens as pets following them home, you get a hungry carnivore following you in the wilderness.
[2024/06/18 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: You totally can have wolves and tigers overlap.
[2024/06/18 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: per google: "Tigers coexist with other predators such as leopards, Asiatic wild dogs, brown bears and wolves throughout most of their range. "
[2024/06/18 16:13] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Ah, so we're in a sort of Eurasian type climate
[2024/06/18 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: Broadly, mostly
[2024/06/18 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: it's a big continent, it's magical.
[2024/06/18 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: there are, after all, dragons... which you've only narrowly avoided meeting (so far)
[2024/06/18 16:14] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: narrowly....
[2024/06/18 16:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: So, leaving you to consider the implications of what I just let slip... what are your characters doing?
[2024/06/18 16:15] Alicia Frakture: Riding as far as we can before needing to camp again. You mentioned this being a long trip, so...
[2024/06/18 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: It is indeed a LONG trip... it's at least a weeks' travel.
[2024/06/18 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia?
[2024/06/18 16:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Leesha.... how are you planning to keep a tiger happy?"
[2024/06/18 16:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: (I'm glad someone asked that!)
[2024/06/18 16:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Also: musical background: http://81.133.27.194:8000/index.html?sid=1 )
[2024/06/18 16:19] Alicia Frakture: Well we have some meat for now. I can go out and get some more meat. As for anything else, I am not sure what besides food will make them happy.
[2024/06/18 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: roll a d20, someone, INT check (roll under INT score, +2 bonus)
[2024/06/18 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: omg nat 20...
[2024/06/18 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me facepalms
[2024/06/18 16:21] Alicia Frakture: /me rubs her forehead
[2024/06/18 16:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: You're not sure, but you think a tiger needs about a strip of jerky a day.
[2024/06/18 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia?
[2024/06/18 16:23] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Right. And how often do they need to take a full deer down?"
[2024/06/18 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben is pretty sure a tiger will need nearer 10lb meat a day.
[2024/06/18 16:23] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): is travelling with the others and occasionally watching the tiger and wondering about the wolves
[2024/06/18 16:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: The tiger is stalking way behind. You can see his eyes and ears, as he stalks along the trail through the grass. As for the wolves - they've long since gone.
[2024/06/18 16:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me assumes Debben asked Leesha that question
[2024/06/18 16:27] Alicia Frakture: That is a good question. I think once a day or once every couple days. Gotta make that jerky last.
[2024/06/18 16:29] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Even if it's every five, I don't think we have enough rations for that. Not pure meat if we can't cut it with something. ugh, and a tiger who notices us doing that?" She shudders. "Much less explaining this to the townfolk."
[2024/06/18 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: The sun slowly starts to sink in the sky. It's early afternoon, but still, the day is getting on.
[2024/06/18 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: And as the trail comes to a rocky, hilly area, a man comes running down the trail, waving his arms about wildly. "Yaaa! Help!"
[2024/06/18 16:31] Alicia Frakture: "What is going on?"
[2024/06/18 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man stops, wheezing. "No time to explain! Bandits! They got my sister!"
[2024/06/18 16:32] Alicia Frakture: Are you running from them or to them?
[2024/06/18 16:32] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "More bandits," she sighs. "Did they demand a rnansom or just grab her?"
[2024/06/18 16:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guy glares at Leesha. "From! Do you think I can fight off a band of thieves myself? I need to get help for my sister!"
[2024/06/18 16:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: guy: "They were lying in wait, attacked our cart, grabbed my sister, I narrowly escaped. We must hurry!"
[2024/06/18 16:35] Alicia Frakture: /me sighs."We gonna go help?" She said it as a question but also in a way that did not seem question like at all." A thought crossed her mind but she kept her mouth shut.
[2024/06/18 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guy: "Thank you!" He turns and starts back the way he came - the way you were going. "This way, there's a cave up to the left..."
[2024/06/18 16:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "What's your name, kid?" She's on edge, suspicious this is all a ploy -by- bandits.
[2024/06/18 16:38] Alicia Frakture: Leesha draws her wrench before looking at Joan. "Don't worry, we will get you home."
[2024/06/18 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guy: looks over his shoulder, pausing. "Juden. Can we make introductions later? Who knows what is happening to my sister!"
[2024/06/18 16:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: Joan nods and stays on the cart. Katana looks from Joan to back down the trail, then to Juden
[2024/06/18 16:40] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Joan, you know this guy?" she asks even as the wagon starts heading up where Juden is suggesting, ready to call a halt if something suspicious is up.
[2024/06/18 16:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Joan shakes her head. "Never, in my life."
[2024/06/18 16:42] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me "So a guy runs up to the cart and wants us to go to a cave to save his sister? No that doesnt sound suspicious at all..."
[2024/06/18 16:42] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "And you're from this village up ahead? Yeah, I'm thinking this is some sort of trap."
[2024/06/18 16:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: Juden: "What the... My siser is being held by bandits! Are you really not going to help?"
[2024/06/18 16:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: (He never said village)
[2024/06/18 16:44] Alicia Frakture: *Wagon is moving to the spot.* We're going jeeze take a breath.
[2024/06/18 16:46] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Eyes open, everyone. Leesha, mind the rear, Katana watch the flanks. Dhalia, be ready to respond to whatever happens."
[2024/06/18 16:46] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben gets her rifle ready and loaded.
[2024/06/18 16:47] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me flitting along playfully through the air stopping not far from the stranger arms crossed she would look at him and speak, "What's your sisters name? What was she wearing ? How do I know that you even have a sister? We are headed to help im sure the big people in the party would love that , but when we go in that cave your coming with us and im watching your every last step".....grumbles to herself about mean big people always lieing to and being bad to her friends
[2024/06/18 16:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: Juden: "Finally!" He starts to move to one side. (He is very lightly armoured - helm and light leather - and apparantly unarmed)
[2024/06/18 16:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: Juden peers at Dahlia. "Are... are you serious? The cave is just up ahead, there! See for yourself!"
[2024/06/18 16:49] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): Looks back, "Im completely serious, too many people have been bad to my friends!"
[2024/06/18 16:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: Juden: "And right now bandits are doing who knows what bad things to my sister!" He stamps off into the bushes by the side of the trail. "If you won't help, I'll face them myself!"
[2024/06/18 16:52] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me "I said he was coming in that cave with us, i didnt say i wouldnt help. And he is coming with us as will any other random big people running up yelling about this or that!"
[2024/06/18 16:52] Alicia Frakture: Oh no, we'll help but if this is a trap I'll feed ya to the tiger.
[2024/06/18 16:53] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: What sort of cave is it? Naturally occuring or more like a mineshaft?
[2024/06/18 16:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: By the look of it, just a natural cave weathered out of the rock and enlarged in prehistory then abandoned
[2024/06/18 16:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: There is a stake, with a female figure tied to it. She looks -very- worse for wear and is slumped against the ropes. There's a natural clearing before the cave - and thick bushes and undergrowth either side.
[2024/06/18 16:56] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Any sign of the bandits who put her there?
[2024/06/18 16:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: Not a sign of anyone else that you can see.
[2024/06/18 16:57] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me keeps some distance getting close enough to see injuries and if I can cast a heal on her
[2024/06/18 16:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia: From this distance no obvious big injuries, but she is quite dirty and bedraggled looking. Discoloured flesh hints at massive bruises, all over as far as you can see.
[2024/06/18 16:59] Alicia Frakture: You all stay here I'll get her down.. Still think this is a trap, but...
[2024/06/18 17:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: You're approaching her? Dahlia, Debben, position and intention?
[2024/06/18 17:00] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben will keep her high ground on the wagon, rifle ready to respond to incoming ambushes.
[2024/06/18 17:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: and Dahlia?
[2024/06/18 17:02] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): waiting to see what happens before casting
[2024/06/18 17:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay, everyone roll initiative. d20, highest goes first.
[2024/06/18 17:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben?
[2024/06/18 17:06] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: a 16
[2024/06/18 17:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: at least someone rolled good.
[2024/06/18 17:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: Two things happen at once as Leesha approaches. Juden starts chanting something, and the figure at the stake suddenly stands straight and flings her arms out, the ropes falling away. "RAWR!" she snarls - and Leesha gets to make a sanity check
[2024/06/18 17:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: uh, d100, sorry, should've said
[2024/06/18 17:09] Alicia Frakture: *Oh wait Sanity is D100 isn't it.*
[2024/06/18 17:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: must roll under 61
[2024/06/18 17:09] Alicia Frakture: *30*
[2024/06/18 17:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: 30. Made the save... but you still roll a d4
[2024/06/18 17:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: You look into the face of someone you KNOW to be dead. After all, you killed them.
[2024/06/18 17:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: Lost: 2 sanity points.
[2024/06/18 17:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Necromancer Sally?
[2024/06/18 17:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's Cassandra... last seen being slammed into the ground.... fatally
[2024/06/18 17:12] Alicia Frakture: *Is she still tied to the stake?*
[2024/06/18 17:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: Juden finishes his spell, and a thick cloud of choking fumes rise out of the ground. It smells... terrible... nauseatingly so.
[2024/06/18 17:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: The ropes were merely for effect to look like she was tied.
[2024/06/18 17:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: She has a pair of daggers which she slashes at Leesha
[2024/06/18 17:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Missing, both times.
[2024/06/18 17:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: But then she takes a bite, too.
[2024/06/18 17:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Missed.
[2024/06/18 17:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Spell covers the whole area... saving throws from Leesha and Debben and Dahlia
[2024/06/18 17:14] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: d20 once?
[2024/06/18 17:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana is unaffected
[2024/06/18 17:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Yep, d20 from all three
[2024/06/18 17:15] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Jurgen not in range?
[2024/06/18 17:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: he's the one casting it
[2024/06/18 17:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: uh oh. Leesha is choked by the fumes; Dahlia and Debben are unaffected, but the fumes do block sight
[2024/06/18 17:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's Leesha unable to attack, sorry.
[2024/06/18 17:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: totally block slight, or in a range?
[2024/06/18 17:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: can leesha take non-attack actions?
[2024/06/18 17:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's like looking through thick smoke. You can see figures, you can attack them, but you'll have a -2 penalty.
[2024/06/18 17:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben, you're up next!
[2024/06/18 17:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Misread slightly: Stinking Cloud - effectively teargas. Leesha is too busy choking to act)
[2024/06/18 17:19] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: So i have a clear line of sight to Jurgen, mildly obscured by smoke?
[2024/06/18 17:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: You're in the cloud, but unaffected. You still have -2 to attack, because the cloud obscures sight.
[2024/06/18 17:21] Alicia Frakture: Hold on. When the smoke first started would I have had time to take a breath before it got to me
[2024/06/18 17:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's what the saving throw represents.
[2024/06/18 17:21] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: if I wait he's just going to do more stuff to us, so aiming, pulling trigger once Debben has the shot
[2024/06/18 17:21] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: (Also teargas attacks eyes as well as lungs )
[2024/06/18 17:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... roll d20... +2 for musket, +1 for range, -2 for obsured, total bonus +1 to hit
[2024/06/18 17:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: 12+1=13
[2024/06/18 17:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Hit. Roll 2d8 for damage.
[2024/06/18 17:25] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: double 4s
[2024/06/18 17:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: Good shot, the musket makes a bright flash and a BANG, the horse whinnies in panic and tries to bolt. That faint rustle from behind is the tiger running for it
[2024/06/18 17:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: Meanwhile, the lead shot slams into Juden at an appreciable fraction of the speed of sound and causes severe damage. He stumbles back, screaming. "Cass, I'm hit, get 'em!"
[2024/06/18 17:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: Next: six figures come crashing through the bushes at the sides; they don't seem affected by the spell.
[2024/06/18 17:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Leesha, back on board!" Debben sits down to take hold of the reins. If the horse wants to move, then time to move.
[2024/06/18 17:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's going to look bad for Leesha quite quickly, but luckily right -now- they simply lumber up to attack, moving slowly and jerkily.
[2024/06/18 17:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha is next, but, unable to act.
[2024/06/18 17:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia, you're next!
[2024/06/18 17:29] Alicia Frakture: *Cough, retch* Not sure where on board is.*Cough, growl*
[2024/06/18 17:31] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): flying high and casting dust devil to push the cloud attack away
[2024/06/18 17:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me checks PHB
[2024/06/18 17:31] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Katana, grab her!" Debben will aim to run the wagon by Leesha so katana gets a grab chance
[2024/06/18 17:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: I'll allow that... dust devil starts creating a wind to dispel the cloud. It'll clear next round (but Leesha is still subject to the effects. RAW)
[2024/06/18 17:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana goes last, and charges into the cloud. She draws her sword and swipes at Cassandra, while trying to cover Leesha.
[2024/06/18 17:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: well, that seemed like it should've worked. Oh well, missed.
[2024/06/18 17:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: round over, round 2... intentions?
[2024/06/18 17:35] Alicia Frakture: GTFO
[2024/06/18 17:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: Might be difficult in your case...
[2024/06/18 17:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Effect lasts 2 rounds, so, unable to act freely before end of round 3)
[2024/06/18 17:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben, Dahlia?
[2024/06/18 17:37] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: dang it katana engaged when the plan was to make this a car chase
[2024/06/18 17:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: Risky with a cart, horses are big, easily killed targets.
[2024/06/18 17:40] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: hmmmm....
[2024/06/18 17:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: (horses do take a fair bit of care, galloping down country trails probably isn't the best idea. AFAIK)
[2024/06/18 17:41] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben will begin casting an illusion on Cassandra, a sudden downpour of obscuring rain and slick, muddy ground while she fights Katana
[2024/06/18 17:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: are you sure about that?
[2024/06/18 17:44] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: would it not help?
[2024/06/18 17:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: I gave a number of clues
[2024/06/18 17:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: "very bruised, bedraggled looking"... "KNOW to be dead"... and not even rolling saving throws despite being in a cloud of noxious gas
[2024/06/18 17:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's a good plan... but I think Debben would have doubts that'd have much effect
[2024/06/18 17:46] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: oh right, undead immunity to illusions
[2024/06/18 17:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: aha ;)
[2024/06/18 17:46] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: very annoying for an illusionist
[2024/06/18 17:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: Neck romancers are going to romance necks.
[2024/06/18 17:48] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: at that point may be better to start reloading frantically
[2024/06/18 17:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: Probably, yes. You do have a spear, a magic one, but I don't think the odds are great for you
[2024/06/18 17:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia?
[2024/06/18 17:51] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): well...since i already called my little dust devil pet its time for the next fully predictable cleric action! Turn Undead! thats right whether it works or not this happy pixie is going to try
[2024/06/18 17:52] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): oh and the dust devil is going to attack something...anything nearby preferably of the undead variety
[2024/06/18 17:52] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me mutters, just found Turn Undead in PHB, now back to spell list
[2024/06/18 17:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: wait, it's one or the other, why am I checking
[2024/06/18 17:54] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): dust devil is its own thing so it s doing what ever Im just turning undead
[2024/06/18 17:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... our friend Juden goes first. Badly injured, he vanishes in a cloud of purple sparkles.
[2024/06/18 17:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: Next, Cassandra attacks Katana, because in the way of Leesha.
[2024/06/18 17:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: Missed... then bite
[2024/06/18 17:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: Big miss.
[2024/06/18 17:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben: loading musket? 1st round
[2024/06/18 17:56] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: ye, powder and tamping
[2024/06/18 17:56] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): hopes all the undead get turned
[2024/06/18 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: The six lumbering figures - plainly undead - swarm about Leesha, punching wildly
[2024/06/18 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: I'm sure she'll be find. They need to roll 11+
[2024/06/18 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Oh. I saw a nat 20...
[2024/06/18 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: Hit for 2 damage... Leesha roll d%
[2024/06/18 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: 62... let's see what happens to Leesha
[2024/06/18 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: oh my.
[2024/06/18 17:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: Luckily, that has no technical effect. "Mercy killing - they take pity and decide to put you out of your misery". Doesn't apply here.
[2024/06/18 18:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: two more punches land, though
[2024/06/18 18:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: Damages Leesha hard. I'd suggest ending this fight fast!
[2024/06/18 18:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha would go next, still choking for 1 more round.
[2024/06/18 18:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia attempts a Turn
[2024/06/18 18:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20
[2024/06/18 18:02] Alicia Frakture: Could Leesha at least try a wild swing?.. Obviously with some negative Modifiers
[2024/06/18 18:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: RAW says "incapacitated" basically
[2024/06/18 18:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: "be reeling and unable to attack"
[2024/06/18 18:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me nudges Dahlia with the d20
[2024/06/18 18:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: and 2d6
[2024/06/18 18:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: Nice. The lumbering figures start lurching away.
[2024/06/18 18:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: Now the balance of the battle is shifting
[2024/06/18 18:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: swipes at Cassandra
[2024/06/18 18:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me sighs.
[2024/06/18 18:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: 'k.
[2024/06/18 18:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: End of round, next round. Only combatant now is Cassandra.
[2024/06/18 18:07] Sonja Bikergrrl: Intentions, Dahlia? Debben is still loading (2nd round), Leesha is able freely act after this round.
[2024/06/18 18:10] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: need to get some spells that work on undead
[2024/06/18 18:10] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): looks quickly to see who is wounded and how badly to cast a heal
[2024/06/18 18:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: you do
[2024/06/18 18:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha is the only wounded one.
[2024/06/18 18:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cassandra still attacking Katana, as, in the way of Leesha
[2024/06/18 18:11] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): casts on Leesha and gets bandages ready
[2024/06/18 18:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: Bite attack hits! Not sure it's wise to try to bite stone, but that's a minor wound for Katana
[2024/06/18 18:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben finishes reloading, the lurching undead are turned anyway
[2024/06/18 18:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha: last round of incapacity
[2024/06/18 18:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia - cure light wounds on Leesha? d8
[2024/06/18 18:13] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Do i have a clear shot at Cassandra?
[2024/06/18 18:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: (and then roll d20)
[2024/06/18 18:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Good question... right now Katana is in melee with Cassandra
[2024/06/18 18:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha healed, now just injured
[2024/06/18 18:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20 from Dahlia
[2024/06/18 18:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: cost 1 spell point as standard
[2024/06/18 18:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: Hmm.
[2024/06/18 18:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana takes a calculated risk, to grab Leesha and haul her aside, while shouting to Debben: "Take the shot!"
[2024/06/18 18:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me facepalms. That was the -idea-... but Katana misses Leesha and stumbles aside.
[2024/06/18 18:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: aiming... sighting....
[2024/06/18 18:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay, round over... Debben is reloaded, Leesha is able to act. Intentions?
[2024/06/18 18:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben needs a clear shot
[2024/06/18 18:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha, Dahlia?
[2024/06/18 18:19] Alicia Frakture: *Debben goes before me right?*
[2024/06/18 18:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: Yes.
[2024/06/18 18:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: Technically no melee situation so line of sight is "clear"
[2024/06/18 18:19] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: can i aim anf still fire before cassies turn?
[2024/06/18 18:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cassie goes first, then you. Still line of sight will be free.
[2024/06/18 18:20] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: og, if i have the shot, will take it
[2024/06/18 18:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana is no longer "blocking"
[2024/06/18 18:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... Dahlia?
[2024/06/18 18:21] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): stays out of the way of the shooting and gets the dust devil out of the way too
[2024/06/18 18:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... Cassandra now gets to attack Leesha. I guess she's still kinda annoyed at being killed by her.
[2024/06/18 18:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me sees daggers miss, but bite... that hits
[2024/06/18 18:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha is badly hurt.
[2024/06/18 18:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Not Leeshas' night. Or Katanas, either.
[2024/06/18 18:23] Alicia Frakture: Is she releasing the bite?
[2024/06/18 18:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: After taking a chunk outta your neck, yes.
[2024/06/18 18:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben - +2 to hit because musket, +1 for range, total bonus +3.
[2024/06/18 18:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: must roll over 10 if I got it right
[2024/06/18 18:25] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: hmmmm
[2024/06/18 18:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: so... gonna roll?
[2024/06/18 18:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: Easy shot. 2d8.
[2024/06/18 18:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: 7
[2024/06/18 18:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cassandra stumbles, but is still up and fighting
[2024/06/18 18:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Lumbering undead are turned... Leesha!
[2024/06/18 18:30] Alicia Frakture: time for a wrench swing at Cassandra.
[2024/06/18 18:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me approves
[2024/06/18 18:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20, must roll over... 14
[2024/06/18 18:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: 13. +1 to hit.
[2024/06/18 18:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: omg
[2024/06/18 18:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: NOW we get a 20
[2024/06/18 18:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: regardless of roll, Cassandra is bowled over and ceases moving.
[2024/06/18 18:31] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: fpind the adreneline
[2024/06/18 18:31] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: *found
[2024/06/18 18:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's all opponents down.
[2024/06/18 18:32] Alicia Frakture: Oh I am not done. this one teargassed me and then bit my neck like it was a chicken leg I'me going to make it impossible for her to come back
[2024/06/18 18:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: I'm not sure I want to know...
[2024/06/18 18:33] Alicia Frakture: Everybody look away." As she caves in Cassandras skull giving way to her rage, for a moment."
[2024/06/18 18:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "vampire protocol: burn the head and body sperately. bury the ashes of the head under a crossroads, and scatter the ashes of the body over running water."
[2024/06/18 18:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana puts out a hand to stop you from further such action. "She's no longer moving... she will cause no further harm now."
[2024/06/18 18:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "And carve her name into stone to still her ghost."
[2024/06/18 18:34] Alicia Frakture: She was no longer moving before, didn't stop her then
[2024/06/18 18:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "Nonetheless, that is enough... do not be carried away by rage."
[2024/06/18 18:35] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): "Yes she is undead and a dangerous one, cant trust her even if she isnt moving"
[2024/06/18 18:37] Alicia Frakture: Leesha takes a deep breath. "You're right. I know you are right." Before she hobbles to the wagon. Anybody got one of those heals on them?"
[2024/06/18 18:37] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): "Yes and happy to cast it"
[2024/06/18 18:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: We'll call it there... once again you kept me up to 2:30 AM and beyond
[2024/06/18 18:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana takes up the daggers from Cassandra, and eyes the runes on them thoughtfully. (That's all the loot.)
[2024/06/18 18:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Joan looks over the edge of the cart. "Is it always so much fighting and mayhem?"
[2024/06/18 18:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "Oh no. Sometimes it's much worse."
[2024/06/18 18:39] Alicia Frakture: Yeah, some people just don't like my haircut.
[2024/06/18 18:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: well... that took a lot longer'n I thought :}
[2024/06/18 18:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: I'm going to have to dash
[2024/06/18 18:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: good fun?
[2024/06/18 18:42] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: ♥
[2024/06/18 18:42] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: thanks for running!
[2024/06/18 18:42] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): that was fun
[2024/06/18 18:42] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): :)
[2024/06/18 18:42] Alicia Frakture: This was fun, and dangerous for Leesha
